Habitat for Humanity of Jefferson County Missouri

Jefferson County Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God's people everywhere, from all walks of life. It's purpose is to develop communities with God's people in need, by building decent houses in decent communities in which God's people can live and grow.

JeffCo Habitat became a formal affiliate organization of Habitat International on March 1, 1996. Our first Habitat House was dedicated in October of 1997.

As of the summer of 2007, we have completed 11 homes in the Jefferson County area.  Our 12th home is soon to be under construction, with planned dedication before Christmas.  Funding for these homes was provided in part by grants, donations from local religious and civic groups, private donations and fundraisers.

Work done on our houses is all volunteer labor.  From professionals to just good hearted people, Jefferson County Habitat loves it's volunteers!

We generally work on Saturdays, but help in the office is appreciated any day of the week.  Please call our office to set up a time you can come and lend a helping hand.

We accept donations of materials to sell in our Habitat for Humanity Resale Store located in Desoto, Mo. We are currently looking for volunteers to help staff our store.  If you are interested in volunteering, please call 636-933-3606 and talk with Marla.
